Go to the 5.5 stable update center and there is Samples|DilbertViewer plugin.
Try to add it to the list of modules for install and the Error dialog appears -
see attached screenshot. This is probably only the Mac OS X platform dependent
problem.

I believe this is not Mac OS specific since it happens to me on Windows XP as well.

I believe this has been fixed in that we've put a new error message in that
describes better what the missing pack is. Please reopen if it's not the case.

Yes, now the message appears before the dependency error pop-up. VERIFIED.
