Description Glenn Story 2001-03-08 19:42:48 UTC
I am getting the following compile error from the FastJava compiler:

com/sun/scdsbuilder/SCDSBuilder.java [29:1] No method found matching
addCard(String,VWizardCard)
                addCard("startcard", (VWizardCard) new Step1());
                ^
1 error

There is, in fact a method matching the signature. When I switch to the
internal or external compiler, or compile with the JDK compiler, I get a
clean compile.

This also fails on Solaris 2.8 and on FFJ CE1 and 2.

We need at least fastjavac build number from you - unless you use "stock" FFJ
CE1/CE2 installation without updates. To obtain it, please run fastjavac
-version from your shell; it is located in %forte_root%/bin/fastjavac.

Comment 2 Glenn Story 2001-03-27 23:36:26 UTC
Requested version information (both Solaris and Windows):

fastjavac: version 4.0, 11/04/00-10:39, build #461

Comment 4 Ivan Bradac 2001-04-02 09:51:04 UTC

A mistakenly closed RESOLVED LATER/REMIND issue. Reopening.
Comment 8 Jan Pokorsky 2003-12-05 10:57:10 UTC
Fastjavac is not supported anymore and since it is a close source there is no
reason to keep this as open issue.
Comment 9 Quality Engineering 2007-09-20 09:48:51 UTC
Reorganization of java component
