Seen on Windows XP with Hula build8a (070403_30) and JDK 1.6.0_1. Reproduced on Hula 070410_14. 1. Open a WSDL document in Partner view. 2. Add a new Partner Link Type. 3. Open the Properties dialog for the PLT (choose Properties from context menu) or open the Properties pane with the PLT highlighted. 4. Change the name property (attribute) of the PLT to an invalid name (lots of special characters) by either clicking and changing the name property in the Properties pane or dialog, or by clicking the browser button and entering the value in the text editor dialog. ==> No error checking is done, and the invalid value is set. I would expect error checking, as is done when I double-click the PLT name in the Partner View and try to enter an invalid name. I get a dialog that asks for a valid name, and the bad name is NOT set.
Also true for roles.
Also for new port type names.
Logging a related issue 100541 for port type names.
