the highlighting for multi-line comments consistently goes nuts.  see the
javadoc comments in the attached picture.  maybe it has to do with using a
variable-width font...

i'm getting the same problem using a fixed width font.

NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200704031800)
1.6.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-b105
