Description Roman Strobl 2005-02-16 14:38:23 UTC
[NetBeans 200502101900; JDS R3; JDK 1.5.0_02]

I was testing the editor shortcuts from
Help->Keyboard Shortcuts Cards and was not able to
use the Alt-U, G; Alt-U, S; Alt-U, I and Ctrl-J,
S/E shortcuts. I was trying hard to find out how
to press these keybindings but at the end I had to
ask. Supposing I'm not completely dumb usual users
will probably have similar problems. So we either
need to change these keybindings or describe them
in a better way in the keyboard shortcuts pdf.

I suggest to change them, any combination of Alt,
Shift and Ctrl plus a key will do much better then
this way. Pressing a modifier with a key and then
just a key without modifier is very unusual.

more info about shortcuts:

I am not sure who is responsible for shortcuts.pdf.

Patrick, do you know it?

I just filed issue 55709 against usersguide to make this clearer in
the docs.
