see issue 55055. Though I think using the comma to separate the different parts of the key sequence is "correct", I understand how it wouldn't be understandable to people using these types of shortcuts. Maybe we could use "then" instead?
I'll investigate whether "then" will fit and, if so, will make the appropriate changes.
Fixed. The keyboard shortcuts that this issue is about are now as follows: Alt-U, then G Alt-U, then S Alt-U, then I Ctrl-J, then S/E Please indicate whether this is good enough.
The explanation is OK in my opinion. We've discussed the shortcuts on last editor meeting and the proposal for next releases is following: users might not find out they should stop pressing Alt for the second key so we could make it work also when Alt key is pressed on the second key. So each of these multikey shortcuts would have 2 options - e.g. both Alt-U, G and Alt-U, Alt-G would work. Hopefully this will not require additional changes in shortcuts.pdf :-)
That sounds like a great solution. :-) No, I don't think that will have an impact on the keyboard shortcuts card...
