Missing steps to reproduce from scratch, screenshots, etc. I find it suspicious that reporter claims something changed between 4.0b2 and 4.0rc1. Both use a plain JFileChooser and rely on it to display files on disk. Created attachment 19146 [details]

I believe this could be side effect of my workaround to use Tahoma fonts when available. But this issue is already fixed for a while. Could you please test if error still appears with 4.0 FCS and 4.1 dev builds and if error is special to File/Open dialog or if it applies for all dialogs in the system? No response for a week, so I assume problem is gone and indeed was a result of already fixed Tahoma font tricks. Closing, please reopen if problem reappears. no feedback from reporter for a half of year .. closing (feel free to reopen if you have new informations for us, thanks in advance) |
