Description fni 2004-10-13 22:30:59 UTC
I used 3.6 and it has buttons for file compile/build, not
just for Main file, but in 4.0 I can't find the buttons for
them, they are very important, I wonder it they will show
up in the official version.

Another probelm is in 3.6 when I compile or execute a
file(not main file), I can see the file name in the output
window, now in 4.0, it only says "compile-single",
please do it the 3.6 way, also the tab in output window,
it says "(compile-single)", I'd like to see the file name.

Some other important button missing : file save/saveas.

Hope I can define a button by the Tools/Option/UI to
assign my script to a user defined button , if this already
exist, please let me know. Thanks

fni, you report two non-related bugs here. The "Major Buttons Missing" has already been
reported and we are working on fixing it. Please look at:

http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=47527

Regarding the missing file name in the output window tabs, I think it hasn't been reported
yet. So, I suggest to change the summary of this issue to "Show a file name in Compile
File output tabs", and also changing the priority to P3.

Current implementation works as designed so this sounds more like an
RFE to me
