Seems to be a JDK bug. Can you enter those characters elsewhere in NB or in other Java apps? Where do you enter these characters exactly? --Tim hhe.. You are right. I cannot type Latin2 characters nowhere in the IDE. They don't even work with JDK demos. Please use bugfree JDK. Report the bug against JDK with the same priority :-). How if Sun does not do it's programming right and this JDK is the only 1.5 ? This problem was already reported to the JDK team and is fixed in recent version of JDK1.5.0 (JDK1.5.0-rc should be fine): http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=5057184 nb 4.1 is out |
