Description kovica 2004-08-21 15:11:27 UTC
I'm using 1.5.0-beta2 JDK from Sun and NetBeans
4.0 beta1.
I have downloaded Users tasks from DEvelopment
Update Center and tried it.
I cannot write Latin2 characters at all. Nothing
appears.
Comment 1 Tim Lebedkov 2004-08-22 08:57:28 UTC
Seems to be a JDK bug.
Can you enter those characters elsewhere in NB or in other Java apps?
Where do you enter these characters exactly?

hhe.. You are right. I cannot type Latin2 characters nowhere in the IDE.
They don't even work with JDK demos.

Please use bugfree JDK. Report the bug against JDK with the same
priority :-).
Comment 4 kovica 2004-08-24 14:54:08 UTC
How if Sun does not do it's programming right and this JDK is the only
1.5 ?
Comment 5 Jan Lahoda 2004-08-24 17:27:06 UTC
This problem was already reported to the JDK team and is fixed in
recent version of JDK1.5.0 (JDK1.5.0-rc should be fine):
