First, wrong version - found in 3.4, not 4.0 dev. Second, how to reproduce? Thousands of people use this same IDE version on Windows 2000 and don't get this problem. So what is wrong on your computer specifically? I can't guess. Delete your installation and try again. The fix for issue #26191 (in 4.0 but not 3.4) reports the specific JAR that failed. The problem is a combination of a improperly written zip file, and a bug in the JVM. It is easy to reproduce. I have not tried to with 1.4.2, but I suspect it still exists. You can work adound the problem by unzipping the zip file, and rezipping it to a new file. A more accurate account of the problem can be found in issue 28127 so I think this issue should be closed. |
