Any error while opening PHP project ? The rest (Maximize ...) might be an issues as well, please report it separately against platform/Window System. Thanks in advance. On my mac no errors. Open folder with project and accept button is inactive. (In reply to comment #2) > Any error while opening PHP project ? > > The rest (Maximize ...) might be an issues as well, please report it separately > against platform/Window System. Thanks in advance. There is no error in the IDE log. Martine, could we please verify on Mac as well as other OSes? @reporter: Please, provide _exact_ steps to ensure that we are trying it properly. Thanks. I'll try it instead of Martin, he probably won't be able to that this week. I'll try it today/tomorrow I have same problem. NetBeans projects are not recognized when 'Maximize use of native look and feel' option is checked, so I can't open projects. [env] Mac OS X 10.8 JDK 7u11 NetBeans 7.3 RC1 [reproduce] 1. Create any type of projects. 2. Check 'Maximize use of native look and feel' in Option > Miscellaneous > Windows. 3. (Try to) Open project Created attachment 131025 [details]

Not PHP specific, reassigning, please evaluate. Thanks. Reporter, by 'projects not recognized' you mean that it is not possible to open any project or that project folders show standard icons in the file chooser? The latter is expected and correct behavior when native Mac file chooser is being used - you get maximum native functionality at the expense of not highlighting project folders as it is not possible to plug any custom rendering into native components. Please clarify and reopen, thanks. (In reply to comment #10) > Reporter, by 'projects not recognized' you mean that it is not possible to open > any project I tried it and I can't open any project. Open button is disabled even if I focus folder with NB project (or it opens folder in filechooser as any other, depends on the way how folders are displayed - columns, list or icons) Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.3 RC2 (Build 201302050851) Java: 1.7.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.7-b01 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_13-b20 System: Mac OS X version 10.8.2 running on x86_64; US-ASCII; en_US (nb) This is a regression in JDK 1.7 updates 10 and 11, supposed to be fixed in update 14 *** Bug 225613 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 226602 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 226851 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is still happening on jdk 7 update 21.
