Mixing/nesting projects is not supported. Simply use only PHP project. Thanks. It should be at least mentioned in the documentation that having Netbeans project files of a different type can interfere with the PHP features and how the projects should be properly organized. I assumed that different project types would work well as long as you use the proper project type in the project view to navigate to the files and open them.
