It seems that you don't have write permissions to your user home directory "\\vmware-host\Shared Folders". Can you please check the permissions? Is it really your home directory? It can be some problem in configuration. Can you please try starting NetBeans with parameter -J-Dnetbeans.derby.system.home=<path>? Thank you. I suppose that as Jarda wrote, user had not permissions to write to that folder. If you have still this problem, please provide us more info (IDE log). Check folder permissions.
