Description bdwalker 2012-04-12 08:00:43 UTC
Currently when updating through the update center, the modules are updated, but the splash screen, about dialog, and main screen title all retain their original version numbers. This can be confusing to users who think the update might have failed.

Tested on updates from > to:
7.0 > 7.1.1
7.1 > 7.1.2
7.1.1 > 7.1.2

It seems the branding updating works for patch level releases, but it would be nice for minor versions as well. An update from 7.0 to 7.0.1 did actually change the branding information.
