Please attach a screen shot and reopen, thanks.
Also, what look and feel do you use? What is your theme in OS settings? Is this reproducible with a SwingSet demo app?

What about the SwingSet demo app? Is it working fine?

SwingSet and NetBeans with --laf Metal has correct colors
