go to Add Plugin, Step 2 of 2. there is a categories field which eventually lists all available categories. Unfortunately, the list is not sorted ...

This is already fixed in Plugin Portal 2.0 [1] that will be deployed to the production server soon. Thanks for your report Tomasi.
