Reassigning to "extbrowser". It should work, the parameter is still in use. However it might be a platform issue, see issue #76970. Please, provide more info: Which platform you are running on, if the browser was already running etc. Thanks. As mentioned in the issue, the switch is not the problem. the external browser configuration has parameter "-remote {openURL..." which does not work in case of firefox installation, which tells that "cannot launch firefox . . ." forums mentioned to change the parameter to "{URL}" which worked perfectly. May be this could be done by default
