It would be fine if the user can switch between 'normal' and 'a11y' mode where a11y mode would handle this features in a different way which is not so good for people without disabilities but is great for disabled. Could you please be more specific about those two modes. What is the expected screenreader outcome in each mode? Thanks The problem is not so much with netbeans as it is with JAWS. JAWS does not report underlining in any windows application other than possibly microsoft word but that is because special jaws scripts have been written for ms Word to enable this feature. I am not sure there is anything that can be done to make this work on the netbeans side. This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss |
