The fact that mnemonics of elements in inactive TopComponents is a known issue and I reported it as a bug half a year ago - see issue #114950. It was closed as invalid. Personally, I believe it is a wrong (unexpected behaviour) but it is hard to fix it. Anyway, I am going to change the mnemonic to 'D' as suggested in a comment to the above issue. I have a fix ready. I will change status of this bug to FIXED once the fix is available. Modified file: utilities/src/org/netbeans/modules/search/Bundle.properties Changeset Id: ec6527987178 (http://hg.netbeans.org/main/rev/ec6527987178) Fixed. Verified, thanks for the quick fix. I agree that this is unexpected behaviour; in fact when the find in projects dialog was shown when I hit alt-e, I first went to check the keyboard shortcuts too see whether something is messed up there - only after that I realized that it was the inactive search results window captured the shortcut. |
