Description Erno Mononen 2008-03-13 15:44:02 UTC
The mnemonic for Modify Criteria (e) in the search result window conflicts with the mnemonic for the Edit menu. This is
annoying since alt-e pops up the Find in Projects dialog even when the editor window has the focus.

The fact that mnemonics of elements in inactive TopComponents is a known issue and I reported it as a bug half a year
ago - see issue #114950. It was closed as invalid. Personally, I believe it is a wrong (unexpected behaviour) but it is
hard to fix it.

Anyway, I am going to change the mnemonic to 'D' as suggested in a comment to the above issue.

Verified, thanks for the quick fix. I agree that this is unexpected behaviour; in fact when the find in projects dialog
was shown when I hit alt-e, I first went to check the keyboard shortcuts too see whether something is messed up there -
only after that I realized that it was the inactive search results window captured the shortcut.
