shoudl be fixed in dev build 208. 
Please double-check. I wasn't able to reproduce it on my machine but I've added
a sanity check that should handle it.

reproduction on [NBdev-207] on linux is easy for 100%

Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
