Description Jaroslav Tulach 2004-10-28 12:20:45 UTC
During the j2eeserver review we noticed that the
module in fact provides more than one set of
functionality. It might be wise to split the
module into smaller, more logically organized units.

What is definitevely suggest is to separate the UI
parts of the module from the API. The API should
be autoload and it is pretty bad when UI is
changing due to some other module depending on the
module or not.

Also connecting the API and UI make it imposible
to provide alternative presentation of the
functionality, which was said to be needed by
project rave.

It is too late to fix this in 4.1 -> setting the TM to promo-F.
Comment 2 Petr Blaha 2006-03-13 13:51:03 UTC
TM 5.0 -> TBD
Comment 3 Sherold Dev 2006-05-31 14:16:19 UTC
changing the type from defect to task, since this is not a real issue
Comment 4 Jaroslav Tulach 2006-12-01 10:33:18 UTC
This issue (as several others which I am changing at once) as a TCR or TCA,
but it is not a defect. As I am aware of our attitude towards non-defects -
e.g. ignore them, I believe it is safe to assume that these issues are never
going to be fixed. As such I am closing them. If anyone believes that this
issue is important to be fixed, then please reopen. In such case I suggest to
track it then as a defect.
