It seems that after importing settings from 6.9 to 7.x the html error checking is enabled by default for mimetypes like "text/x-jsp" or "text/php" which is incorrect. By default these are disabled. The import seems to be incorrectly enable them.

There isn't a common way how to update the imported values based on the imported version. If one does the import from 7.0 there won't be a problem. If one imports from 6.9 to 7.1 or previously imported from 6.9 to 7.0 and now imports from 7.0 to 7.1, s/he will face the problem though. The latter case is definitively not possible to fix. Given the state of things and the issue not so much serious impact, I'm closing the issue as wontfix. Simple workaround is to manually disable the error checks for specific mime type using editor hints on a file with an error. This is is typically done just once or few times (once per mimetype).
