(I'm sure this is the wrong category to file this under, but I'm not sure where to put it). As of J2SE1.4, it is possible to run the jvm in a 64bit mode on Solaris systems. I think there was some testing to make sure this would work with NetBeans, but I was told at the time that the test team in Prague didn't have the resources or time to test this thoroughly. I got the enclosed source and binaries from our test group here that they use for testing some of the Solaris Native Language Support features. One of these is a java program which then loads and invokes a function in a 64bit native library. I'm including this here because it may be possible for the NetBeans testing team to incorporate these into their automated test suite.

This is not a feature, changing to task. Lubo, do you write some QA tests?
