Under project properties / run / environment, you can set environment variables. However, although Windows supports case insensitive environment variable names, Netbeans does not. Specifically, if you try to set the "PATH" variable, it is ignored by Netbeans. If you set the "Path" variable, it sets the Windows Path. From the command line in Windows: ----------------------- C:\>SET PATH=c:\mingw C:\>SET PATH Path=c:\mingw C:\> ----------------------- Because of this Windows supported behavior, it is unexpected that setting PATH in Netbeans does not work in Windows. But, it does not.
