If using the IDE in Mac OS X on a laptop built in display and then connecting a second screen, the IDE does not automatically resize when moving the IDE to second screen. Also, it does not allow you to resize the window (dragging the bottom corner doesn't work, nor clicking the green + button) It appears to "think" that the IDE display is already at maximum size and will not change. It will however, resize vertically, but not horizontally. So, if you drag the window from the laptop display without the dock to a display with the dock, the IDE will resize the window automatically if there is less space vertically than before, but it will not allow you to increase the horizontal maximum if the second display size is greater. I have a 15" MB Pro, 1440x900 and move display to 20" LED at 1600x900 This always happens, and requires quitting the IDE and re-starting. This occurs with NB 7.3 as well as NB 7.4 Beta.
Reporter, please run some plain Swing app, e.g. SwingSet demo and try reproducing the problem then reopen, thanks.
Also please provide JDK and OS version info, thank.
