And what is the expected behavior? - close button hides main window and leaves icon in system tray - minimize button hides main window and leaves icon in system tray (and what about application in task bar?) - should the tray icon be always visible or not? What I would like to have is hiding the entry in the task bar. It is really hard to decide what is the best option. My favorite is: - minimize button hides main window (task bar entry disappears too) and leaves icon in the system tray - clicking on the icon in the system tray restores the window (task bar entry appears) and removes the icon from the system tray No plans to work on this issue, passing to community to step in. There is already a plugin existing in the plugin portal: http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/PluginDetailPage.jsp?pluginid=8738 A first test shows it works on 6.5 . |
