This actually might work in 5.5.1, but it'll be broken again in 6.0 because we no longer can listen to changes to annotations. I'll have to think if there is a good way to handle it. please close this issue if you forgot to earlier. If this issue is still open, please change the target milestone to reflect the current commitment. I'll take a peek at this post M2. did this get fixed or do we need to reset the TM? what is the status on this? did it get fixed or do we need to reset the TM value. please be prepared to discuss this issue on 2008/10/22 No easy solution here. There are no events related to annotations so the dd editor won't be notified to clean things up. Besides that, the multiview editor takes a much more conservative stance regarding deleting elements from the file than in pre 6.0 (pre multiview) times. Cases like these would be flagged as errors in the editor to make them more visible to the user. Do we have time for that this round? When I talked about deleting the web service client, I was probably talking about right clicking it in the projects tree and selecting delete menu option. the schedule of 7.0 is here: http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans70... it looks like we need to have an error checking 'feature' by March 9 and a final 'impl' by May 25. Ryan brings up an interesting point. If there is an explicit delete action that the user invokes (vs simply deleting an @WebServiceRef element in a java file), is there a way the dd editor backend could be notified? Can this sort of capability be added to the j2eeserver api changes being researched? assign outher half of pcw's issues This will have to wait for the next release. Marking as next |
