Description Jaromir Uhrik 2007-02-12 15:09:44 UTC
NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200702111900)
1.5.0_06; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_06-68
Mac OS X version 10.4.8 running on i386
en_US (nb); MacRoman

1.Create j2se project
2.create new JFrame form
3.The palette opens and its size looks by default like attached screenshot
(Swing Containers category has 2 columns while Swing Controls has only 1
column). The look of palette should be consistent and the number of columns must
be the same for each category.

hmm, i'm not convinced. different number of columns in each category can save
some vertical space - imagine a very long item name in one category, all other
categories would have to be single-column as well.

what does hie think?
Comment 3 Stanislav Aubrecht 2007-07-04 16:08:51 UTC
imho, it's just a cosmetic issue - lowering priority.
pls feel free to re-prioritize if you feel strongly about this.
