Summary: WSDL editor view sync problem
Product: xml Reporter: jlautz <jlautz>
Component: WSDL ToolsAssignee: Shivanand Kini <skini>
Status: VERIFIED WORKSFORME
Severity: blocker
Priority: P1
Version: 5.x
Hardware: All
OS: Windows XP
Issue Type: DEFECT Exception Reporter:
Attachments: WSDL copied into new WSDL file.

Description jlautz 2007-02-06 20:01:38 UTC
Seen on Windows XP with Gavotte build 070206 and JDK 1.5.0_10:

1. Create a new wsdl file using the WSDL editor. In the first pane, click Finish.
2. In the pane for the new WSDL file, open the Source view.
3. Cut and paste the source for another valid WSDL document into the new WSDL
file. (I used the WSDL generated for the SynchronousSample sample application --
attached.)
4. Click Save.
5. Click the WSDL view. This view seems to think the WSDL file still has no
meaningful content. The nodes have no children and no + icons in front of them.
6. The Partner view is also incorrect.

WSDL copied into new WSDL file.
Comment 2 jlautz 2007-02-06 20:10:11 UTC
Raised to a P1, because the WSDL editor reflected bad views of this file, even
after closing and reopening it, until I shutdown and restarted NB.
Comment 3 Shivanand Kini 2007-02-07 21:16:03 UTC
Not able to reproduce this.
Comment 4 jlautz 2007-02-08 18:11:33 UTC
Not reproduceable on Windows XP with NB 5.5.1 070206 with EP Gavotte 070207_28
and JDK 1.5.0_10.
