I'd like to have the same feature as for Java code (via key-stroke, toolbar, ...)

The editor infrastructure provides general Comment/UncommentAction for languages
that allow commenting individual lines by using a special line comment
characters (e.g. # for properties or // for java and c++). Any further support,
if required, needs to be provided by modules supporting each particular
language. Reassigning to xml module first.
