Description jrojcek 2006-11-28 09:12:58 UTC
Finding
One participant couldn't find "Find Usages" item even though "Find Usages" was the first item in editor's
contextual menu. He said "I would like to find references" while looking at the contextual menu.

Severity
One of two participants who used find usages had this problem.

Recommendation
Consider renaming "Find Usages" to "Find References".

I agree that this is confusing. IMHO there should be two menu items. Find Usages
and Find References, since these are two very different actions.

Jano, please describe new behavior. Thanks.
Comment 3 Jan Becicka 2007-06-28 08:05:24 UTC
Hm. 1 of 8 participants has problems finding "Find Usages" expecting "Find References". Does it mean, that if we rename
menu item to "Find References", we will have 7 participants with problems finding "Find References"?

Wontfix until there is some clear request to do it.

:-)

I don't remember exactly but it could easily be that other users didn't need this action during the study at all. I agree with wontfix. We need more data that
the name is the problem.
