Pressing ALT-P to see arguments also inserts a character between the parentheses.

Alt-keybindings are illegal in the editor on macintosh - the alt key is used to enter international 
characters.  We rebind all Alt- keybindings to Ctrl on Macintosh - just do that with  this one - should be 
simple.

P2 due to embarrassment factor - this sort of thing really alienates mac users.  Should just mean changing 
a simple keybinding.

It's duplicate of issue 77129.
Franky you were first but I decided to make duplicate from this while 77129 is
marked as future q-build stoper.
