Would be nice to have by default. Maybe even better would be if we ask the user if also subproject should be moved. What if a module is already outside of an ear's directory structure. Those should be probably left where they are, again - by default. The project API is currently weak and does not permit more satisfactory dialogs (we have similar problems in APISupport). Also the user may (if there is not some other bug) to be able to move submodules separately. If there is some time I'll take a look at it for 5.5 but not sure. I think it is not a high priority bug if copy/move operation for individual project types works without problem (if not, separate bug should be filed). J2EE team support ends, thus returning the issue back. This bug was reported against NetBeans IDE 6.0 or an older release, or against a non-maintained module. NetBeans team does not have enough resources to get to this issue, therefore we are closing the issue as a WONTFIX. If you are interested in providing a patch for this bug, please see our NetFIX guidelines for how to proceed. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you. The NetBeans Team |
