I got an exception while trying to create a diagram (through reverse
engineering) for a (relatively) large number of classes. I'll attach the
"messages.log" file.

I tried with a very large project with lots of classes but not able to see this
exception. I'm using the final version of NB 5.5 and the latest build of UML
Module. If you still see this issue with the latest, please reopen the issue.
