Attachments: The log-file showing java.net.ConnectionExceptions

Description rittmey 2006-03-08 09:12:09 UTC
Using netbeans behind a proxy which uses username/pwd authorization doesn't
work. There isn't even a possibility to enter username/pwd in the proxy dialogue
(options -> general) and no additional dialogue pops up (like e.g. when using
Webstart behind the same proxy) where one could enter a username and a password.

Due to this issue connecting to the update center or to nbextras is not possible.

Reassignig to openide for evaluation, I hope it is the right component.
Comment 3 Jiri Rechtacek 2006-03-10 11:02:17 UTC
This is a request for new functionality, not supported yet. Should be tracked as
ENHANCEMENT but I left as DEFECT for consideration which release should be
addressed this problem.
