There are already clever warnings in customizers and during a module build about dependencies discrepancies. I'm not working on APISupport anymore. Reassigning to owner of the component, so the issue is not 'forgotten' forever. I don't think that any wizard that renders user's project uncompilable is a good one, even with helpful error message. The wizard should warn user about enabling the module, but should IMHO enable it automatically. Not into 7.0 or next release. Feel free to reopen if more important than it seems. A mistake, sorry. This bug was reported against NetBeans IDE 6.0 or an older release, or against a non-maintained module. NetBeans team does not have enough resources to get to this issue, therefore we are closing the issue as a WONTFIX. If you are interested in providing a patch for this bug, please see our NetFIX guidelines for how to proceed. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you. The NetBeans Team |
