Sorry, but I cannot reproduce the problem (created a new J2SE project, and right-clicked on the project node, sources node and package node). Could you please: 1. Attach your messages.log. 2. Test with a newly created project. 3. If the problem cannot be reproduced with a newly created, please attach the content of your nbproject directory. 4. What project type do you use (J2SE project, freeform, etc.) 5. Atatch screenshot when the problem occurs, if possible. and reopen the bug? Thanks. That's really strange. I experience this problem with a build from CVS (with some modules) so I've downloaded an official build and test it with JDK 6 and JDK 5_06. I've just tested with a new project and I still have no actions from the nodes projects/source and package). I will upload a screenshot and the log file. Created attachment 27586 [details]

I see you have xalan in jre/endorsed (/opt/jdk1.6.0/jre/lib/endorsed/xalan-2.7.0.jar), which is not supported and will not work. See issue #66563. It is also probably the cause of this problem. I will close this bug as a duplicate of issue #66563, please remove the xalan from your endorsed and try again. If it still does not work, reopen again. Thanks. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 66563 *** Sorry I should have said that I tested it with vanilla JDK also, so please don't hate me ;-), I'll reopen the bug and upload the message.log from vanilla JDK6. Well, I can reproduce on JDK1.6 build 62. Cannot reproduce on JDK1.5.0_05, JDK1.5.0_06 and JDK1.6 build 61. You wrote you have tried JDK1.5.0_06, what was the result in your case? Thanks. I've looked at the messages.log from JDK1.5.0_06 and I've made a mistake on the command line when testing this report: "Ignored unknown option: --jdkhome=/opt/jdk1.5.0_06/" With the correct switch (--jdkhome /opt/jdk1.5.0_06/) the actions appear. So this may be a JDK bug instead of Netbeans one? Probably caused by fix of: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4417601 Will try to workaround it in NB and file a JDK bug. All right, thanks for your help. Filled a new bug against JDK, the number is 6359669. After a discussion we decided not to workaround it in NetBeans for now, so please use an older build of JDK until somehow fixed. Sorry. Thanks for the report. I'm fine with not fixing this "bug" as it's not in a released JDK. I cannot access to this bug with web interface, is it available only to Sun employees ? It takes some time (a few days, usually) to propagate the bug to the web, so please be patient. *** Issue 69974 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 70091 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 70108 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6359669 verified, it's regression in JDK *** Issue 70591 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 70617 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 70816 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 69847 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** The jdk bug has just been marked as resolved in build 66 of JDK 6 (not yet available) Right, I've tried build 66 and it works, thanks. *** Issue 71080 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 71443 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** |
