Bug 6684

Summary: User could be warned that an operation on AWT component is not available instead of just ignoring the operation.

Description Antonin Nebuzelsky 2000-05-15 21:48:53 UTC
Borders can be added only to Swing components but they are enabled on the component palette all the time so a border can be selected and then clicked onto an AWT component (e.g. Button). In this cas
e nothing happens and if the user does not remember that this particular button is non-swing, he is confused. It would be nice if a warning message appeared.
Comment 1 Tomas Pavek 2000-07-24 09:08:59 UTC
Fixed in the main trunk, not in branch "boston".
