Who is responsible projects or windowsystem? Anyway different userdir = all setting gone, there should be import action on the first start with fresh userdir. Dev builds are what they are -- development builds with no guaranteed compatibility. Anything bad can happen to the user settings between two subsequent builds. There are good reasons why no dev settings (including last opened projects) aren't imported into 5.0 beta, which gets a separate clean userdir. Power users are free to override this mechanism by reusing the userdir using the -userdir option at their own risk. It is possible to import compatible settings from NB 4.1 (the last stable release) into 5.0 beta. Migration from arbitrary dev builds is not and will not be supported. Sorry. |
