Add a button to the user interface for adding a server installation in the
server registry, called "Download" or similar, that would open the web browser
on the page where the server can be downloaded.

This would improve the out of box user experience.

removing 4.2-candidate status whiteboard, we can't make it into 4.2

I guess this would have to be on a per-server basis.

The GF v3 plugin has something like this.
