If I understand correctly, you want a shortcut that would effectively do the following actions at once: - activate the Search Results window - select the next node - jump to the location as defined by the node As regards highlighting the matches - that should be implemented today or tomorrow. Yes what you said. Currently Eclipse does this with an icon on the search bar in the search results window. To make NetBeans a better product though a key stroke with an icon/button would be better, but the forward and backwards selecting is important. Also, a list of previous searches would be nice :) A list of previous searches (aka search history) was added to the Find dialog just yesterday. *** Issue 58018 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 124303 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Copied from issue 124303: Please provide keyboard shortcuts, or assignable actions, to move through the results from the Search Results output window, similar to what Ctrl+PERIOD/Ctrl+COMMA (Next Error/Previous Error) do for the (build) Output window. Implemented in the trunk. |
