can you reproduce in 1.4 or 1.5? I would prefer not to waste time on looking into this as the 1.6 is at quite early stage. I am using 1.6 promotions for a reason - to identify problems early, so they can be isolated and filed as JDK bugs. Still observed in 041220 custom, JDK 1.6.0-b16. Still here in b40. Makes use of wrap mode rather unpleasant in Mustang. Still reproducible w/ Mustang b53. It seems to occur in the Wrap mode only. Also see JDK bug #6307484 closed as 'not reproducible' some time ago: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6307484 I suspect this is a NetBeans bug. It needs to be investigated soon. Raising prio to P2. Newly reported against JDK 1.6 as #6331762. A simple test case demonstrates a problem with wrong FontMetrics being passed scrolling components with custom renderer in JScrollPane. Should be fixed in b60. Once of the most annoying bug for me. Looking forward to it! Just FYI :) v/c |
