Description santhosh 2004-11-18 14:33:47 UTC
I am building my application on top of platform.
I need japanese localization. I am using japanese
files from translated files, but on running ant
scripts i found that there are some string in core
and openide that are still not localized.

the japanese team of our company has completed
the translations of missing properties for core
& openide modules.

I would like to contribute those files to
netbeans.

please find the files in attachment (the files
are in unicode escaped format).

thanks
Santhosh

Hi Santosh,

What do you propose? Actually Japanese l10n is developed by Sun l10n
team, so we @ translatedfiles don't have much impact on them.
Comment 4 santhosh 2004-11-20 06:45:13 UTC
the japanese translated files that are in @translatedfiles project are
done for netbeans3.6.

in netbeans4.0, there are some new Bundle.properties which are not
localized yet in japanese. as our japanese team has done the translation
of these new Bundle.properties, i want to contribute them to netbeans,
so that netbeans has japanese files upto date.

note: the attched zip file doesn't contain all the bundle.properties.
it has only those bundle.properties which are not localized by
      @translatedfiles yet.

Hi Keiichi,
Here is the Japanese translation contribution by Santhosh,
I think you should use it in your work.

ciao

Thank you very much Santosh!
I've downloaded src-todo.zip. Actually, Japanese translation for NB4.0
has been started before this report. So it seems difficult for us to
use contributed translation as it is (some of them are
conflicting...). However I think some messages can be imported into
the current Sun's translation. I will discuss with Sun internal
translator.
Comment 7 Keiichi Oono 2006-09-29 09:00:14 UTC
re-used same translation.
Thank you very much! I really appricated your contribution.
