I've seen this in the past, but it did not happen to me recently. We specify the correct mode in mf-layer.xml. So peraps this is a fault of Window System? Do you know how to reproduce it that it starts to open in editor? Not sure how to reproduce it... haven't tried from scratch yet. Initially I assumed that it was just a corruption of the window system metadata, so I shut down the IDE and deleted every file in Windows2Local that I thought could be related (by manual inspection). That did not fix it. If you don't see it happening, close as WORKSFORME and I will reopen if I can figure out how to reproduce it. If I do a better job of deleting files from Windows2Local, VCS Output appears in the correct place. So I am not sure how it got into the editor mode. Some D&D bug?? It looks like it's not permitted for the VCS Output window to be docked into Editor mode at all. When I try to D&D it there, it's forbidden. Therefore it must be a bug of Window System or D&D infrastructure in Java IMHO... AFAIK this kind of behaviour happens when the mode for the component cannot be found. Nice implication, Martin :-) Indeed, winsys had a bug 49283, after module turn off/on, components started to behave like mentioned here. I believe my fix of 49283 also fixed this issue, so closing as worksforme. Reopen with reproduction steps if occurs again. Thanks. This was RESOLVED w/ no resolution (IZ bug?), pls. correct. Oh sorry. Here I go again. closed |
