Description wroberts 2004-07-22 05:50:09 UTC
I use two monitors as a single large desktop. I
put the NetBeans GUI on the left-hand screen. All
properties popups and other new windows appear
centered on the desktop which puts them right
across my monitor boundary. It would be nice if
new windows positioned themselves with respect to
the main NetBeans window rather than the desktop.
It would be ideal if this behaviour could be
controlled by a preference.

I also am seeing similar problems under Windows XP and Netbeans 3.6

Using two monitors (laptop LCD and external 19" CRT). Pop-ups, menus,
and tooltips all appear on the laptop screen (it doesn't span to both
screens).

All other apps funtional normally.
