Description vbeffa 2004-05-12 18:21:27 UTC
Sometimes the needs compilation icon is
displayed on the source editor window or the
filesystems window even after the class has been
compiled. To make it go away, you have to either
to rebuild the class, or browse to it in the
filesystem, or perhaps something else. I can't
reproduce this consistently, but I see it on a
regular basis. I saw it in previous IDE versions
as well.

Passing to java module. I don't know to which component this error
should go, so please reassign further if needed.
Comment 2 pootle 2004-08-26 16:29:37 UTC
I have this consistently when I compile to a specific target
(right-click a file, properties->compiler->external
compillation:Target set to a value other than <not set>).

When performing a build when the target is set, the "needs
compilation" icon remains, even though the files have been correctly
built. When performing a compilation on a single file, the "needs
compilation" icon is removed, even though the file is not compiled.

I cannot reproduce this in 200508091800. Usecase from pootle is not aviable in
promo F. Since this is a very old issue, I'm closing it as WORKSFORME. Feel free
to reopen.
