Open Global Settings | Component Palette | AWT.  Select a subnode, and right click.  Delete item is enabled.

Switch to the browing workspace.

Switch back to the Editing workspace.  Right click the same node (without changing the focussed node).  Delete is greyed out.

Maybe similar to explorer focus issues under linux - focus not received, so items not enabled?

Priority is changed to P4 (normal).

It works fine now,
verified, closed.

Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
