Description Jan Chalupa 2003-11-26 14:45:07 UTC
[dev-20031125, Sun JDK 1.4.2_01]

I start the IDE with a clean userdir, but it
neither the splash screen, nor the main window
come up. It just hangs forever in the middle of
the startup procedure.

I can see the system info header in the console
and a partially populated userdir with modules and
system subdirectories (empty except ide.log) and
the 'lock' file in the root of the userdir.

Could this be a problem with CLI on Win NT4?

"NT4"?

can you produce a thread dump?

Comment 2 Jan Chalupa 2003-11-26 17:20:44 UTC
Hmm, there must have been something wrong with my system. I rebooted
and the IDE starts fine now.

However, I wasn't even able to generate a thread dump when the problem
occured.
